Windows Outlook creates a PST file and Mac Outlook has OLM file for it.
The biggest difference between both Outlooks is their data file. The functional aspect of both applications remains the same, and the mailbox shows the same types of folders. In the Windows environment, you can use MS Outlook and in the Mac environment, you can install Outlook for Mac. But, to access these mailboxes, you require an email client that provides a GUI-based appearance to access various folders of a single mailbox account. Microsoft Exchange Server facilitates the creation of multiple mailboxes that are saved securely in the server and helps the users to commit email management.
